Somewhere in 2022, Sandrino got in touch with Francesco to do music sessions together.
Curious about the producer’s vibe, he arrived at the studio with written songs, rough demos, an acoustic guitar and a solid creative spark.
With time, it became clear there was something fresh and raw there - honest lyrics and an undeniable sensibility that was just true and relatable. Everyday thoughts sing with honesty and a certain vulnerability that is rare today.
They started working together, track by track, building confidence and shaping Sandrino's sound in a way that felt natural and personal to both.
Sandrino had this rare openness - little self consciousness and an open channel for expressing things that we all feel but only few can put into words.
With time, it became clear that the collaboration could be more than just producing a couple of isolated songs. It turned into building a long-term vision that marked a turning point to follow the frequencies' modus operandi.
We’ve always followed the frequency of sound - starting with @naga.music and his Hertz from the Heart - but the partnership between Sandrino and Francesco changed the game and made us refocus our attention from plants to sound.
Sandrino is our first artist and the catalyzer that opened a new realm of possibilities for follow the frequencies.
Together with the artist, we had the chance to envision his launch into the world and put everything into practice, from vision into reality.
The result of this partnership is visible in “Ser”, a 6-track EP blending MPB, jazz and indie/bedroom pop moods, accompanied by retro visuals that set the tone to each song.
The visual language of the EP is no coincidence: it is paired with the glorious aesthetic of VHS cameras, denim-heavy looks, vibrant saturated colours, dreamy settings, and a constant desire to break free from the monotony of everyday life (as he so vividly expresses in his songs).
This project was a true creative collaboration that joined music, visuals and people that got together for the love of music.

Fast forward to 2026…
After the launch of the EP, Sandrino had his first gigs in the Algarve, he played at a contest and won 2nd place, leading to a full band concert at Festival F (Faro) and a show at Universidade do Algarve.
In 2026 the song “Disposto a Tudo” (co-created and co-written with Francesco Meoli) was selected for Festival da Canção (RTP) and got to the final.

Preparing a show for TV can be quite an experience. Television is a fascinating world, carefully built and crafted in every detail for those watching from the outside. Behind the cameras, the story is different. It’s the real story — the one that stays with the people who were part of it. Hours and hours of preparation and decisions, from the creative concept to the outfits; lighting and image tests, plenty of logistics, decisions and production work.
The song had this freshness and lightness to it, as well as a tone of irony present on the lyrics. It talks about someone that is down for pretty much everything to get famous, until the realization that fame has the ability of leaving us feeling even more alone and isolated from each other.
For the creative concept and looks, we wanted to honor that lightness and the brazilian vibes without being too obvious — or too crazy. The music and lyrics did all the work and we wanted to keep the focus on that. It’s about the music after all.
